Questions
Do I have to swipe all day?
No. You rate photos once, when you join. After that, Ambosi suggests one person a day. If you both say yes, you can meet. That’s it.
When does my city open?
Whichever city reaches 1,000 confirmed sign-ups first opens first, and every other city opens the same way. Invite friends to help your city get there sooner.
My town is small. Where do I sign up?
Pick your town if it’s in the list, or the nearest bigger city. Towns count toward the big city they belong to, so a sign-up in Badalona counts for Barcelona.
Why do I have to confirm my email?
So every sign-up is a real person: you enter a 6-digit code we email you. Only real, verified sign-ups count toward your city.
Why do I have to rate photos at the start?
That’s how the app learns your taste. It takes a few minutes, once, and it means every suggestion afterwards is picked for you, not for an average person.
Does it give people an attractiveness score?
No. It only estimates how likely you are to like someone. Two people can get completely different suggestions.
How do invites help?
Each friend who signs up with your link and confirms their email counts toward your city’s 1,000 and moves you 10 places up the queue.
Who becomes a founding member?
The first 100 people to confirm their sign-up in each city (towns count toward their big city). Founding members get Premium free, for as long as Ambosi exists. Your status page shows it right away.
Why a one-time price instead of a subscription?
Because we believe in your success. Subscriptions earn the most when people stay single and keep paying. With Ambosi you pay €49 once, and if you find someone quickly, that’s exactly what we want.
What does “lifetime” mean?
Premium stays yours for as long as the Ambosi service exists. There are no renewals and no automatic charges.
What counts as a date?
A date is a mutual match: you both say yes to your daily match. The free plan includes 10; with Premium they’re unlimited.
Why do three friends have to describe me?
It keeps profiles real: before your first match, at least 3 friends pick a few words that describe you. They verify their email, don’t see each other’s answers, and you only see the combined result.
Can I delete my sign-up?
Yes. You can remove your data at any time.
